My 5 Faves Of The Month: January
We all know that January can be a bit of a slog. In the comedown from Christmas, it feels a bit rough to go back to real life. The weather’s quite miserable, and the nights are still dark and gloomy without all the festive lights to cheer them up. So, this month’s five faves are all about sparking joy; they’re indulgent and beautiful, and have made my month just that little bit better.
I hate that I love this as much as I do, seeing as it’s a whopping £104. But guys, it is honestly worth every penny. Not only does it leave your skin looking super healthy and even, but it lasts!! Like, seriously. I’ve worn it for eight hours straight and haven’t had to retouch it even once.
Well, this is just lovely! It leaves hair feeling hydrated, soft and super shiny. Plus, it smells gorgeous, so you feel like you’ve just stepped out of a salon. It cleverly protects against UV and friction damage while restoring elasticity.
This is such an addictive fragrance; it’s somehow sweet and sexy all at once. Weaving honeyed Chinese osmanthus flowers together with mouthwatering Madagascan vanilla and alluring Japanese patchouli, it’s a real show-stopper.
As you may or may not know, I’m really trying to embrace my natural curls this year, and these products have been a great help. They are multi-award-winning, natural and plant based, and they work a treat on bringing my curls back to life.
These are brilliant as makeup bags and travel accessories. There are no stitches, zips, buckles, or moving parts that can break. It’s clear to see they’ve been designed to help maximise space, visibility, hygiene and simplicity of use. They also look rather chic.
I love an unusually shaped wine glass, and these fit the bill perfectly. They’ll also look super cute sporting an Aperol Spritz or G&T once the sun shows up.
You’re basically having dinner on top of a pond! I cannot wait to crack this out in the summer and invite everyone over, it brings me so much joy!
I bought these beautiful garlands from Vinted, and I ended up having a chat with the seller who just happened to follow me on Insta! What a small world. Anyway, I always buy myself a couple of Christmas decs in January, almost as a little surprise to myself in December. I highly recommend it.
These limited-edition glasses are beautiful and so fun! I love the metallic finish to this one. They’re also quite thick and satisfying to hold. Get one of each you won’t regret it!
My Amazing Ice Cream Scoop and Spoon Holder
Ok, this is vintage, so you can’t buy it, sorry! But how amazing and how “me” is it?! I can’t wait to try it out on a banana split.
Now I def didn’t need a new pair of jeans, but these are just so great. They cinch you in at the waist but have an extra panel in the leg, so they’re wide and cool but still flattering.
I could never be without my Skims shapewear. I love this particular bodysuit as you can wear it on its own as a sexy top, and you can even adjust it to be a halter neck. It sucks you all in perfectly just give yourself a good five minutes to get it on!
I adore AV, particularly their jumpers. I got a couple of these styles in the sale and they are the perfect “chuck it on and feel cosy whilst still looking chic” jumpers. They’re perfect for those days when you don’t know what to wear. Fun fact: American Vintage isn’t actually American, and isn’t actually vintage it’s French and simply inspired by the US vintage scene.
Big necklaces are so back, baby! I loveee this necklace and have worn it loads. It looks great with a white tee or chic shirt alike.
I’m beginning to think I have a bit of a jumper problem, but I just couldn’t help myself with this one. It looks wayyyy more expensive than it is, like Margiela level. The cut is just amazing. Wear it with thigh-high boots and denim shorts to look like an IRL off-duty model.
