My 5 Faves Of The Month: February 2026

Guys, spring is almost here! As I write this, there’s tentative sunshine beaming through the windows. It really is true what they say about weather affecting mood, isn’t it? Today’s forecast is sunny skies with a side of smiles and hope, ladies and gents.

It’s also true what they say about the British not shutting up about the weather. I can’t help it, it’s just so lovely! I hope you’re all enjoying the first glimmers of sun as much as I am.

Anyway, let’s get to it! This month’s Five Faves is a good ’un, if I do say so myself. From nostalgic body puffs to leggings that won’t show off your undies (not to mention lamps that keep you sane when the sun is nowhere to be seen!), this month’s round-up is not to be missed.

Who remembers Benefit’s kitten puff? Well, this is Fenty’s version. It’s a body puff full of glitter, what’s not to love? It’s so nostalgic and cutesy, it’s bound to put a smile on your face.

Bio Effect is such an incredible brand. Their products seriously work. I always have these masks in my kit to use before makeup application because they instantly hydrate your skin, and the serum works its magic for many hours after application. Top tip: because it’s a clear mask, you can actually use an LED mask over the top, as it will penetrate through it and make the serum work even harder.

There’s a new kid on the block for hair care brand Living Proof and I’m impressed. Firstly, I love that it replaces your conditioner once a week rather than having to use it as an extra step. Secondly, once dry, your hair feels ridiculously soft and looks so shiny. Thirdly, it’s infused with hemisqualane, so it works to moisturise cuticles and boost shine, all while an emollient blend smooths strands for a sleek finish. Then an amino acid complex enhances moisture retention, and meadowfoam seed oil helps prevent further damage! Honestly, my hair is so soft and healthy since using this once a week.

Danessa has done it again: she’s created another epic eyeshadow palette that you’ll actually use, featuring her famous glitter pigments and long-lasting mattes and to help you create an exceptional smoky eye.

Considering my Cult Beauty edits launched in Feb, I couldn’t not include them here. The Art of Every Day has sold out, but we have a handful of Beauty of the Night’s left. This edit is £45 and worth £180! Can you even.

It only includes products that I really love and trust, all created by fellow makeup artists. With five full-sized products and two travel sizes, I’d be saving this baby to split between friends for Christmas.

I think this might be my all-time favourite backpack. I mean, if anyone knows luggage, it’s Antler, and this bag looks very noughties in a cool way – it’d look cool paired with baggy, low-waisted jeans and tummy piercings, if you fancied really getting into character. I took this (and only this!) on my recent trip to Dublin and Formentera. It fits in waaaay more than you think.

Finalllyyyy, a cute pair of workout shorts that aren’t skin-tight! Whilst searching for neutral clothes for safari, I came across these neon pink shorts and I just had to have them (I got them in brown too so that I don’t get eaten by a lion). They are so lovely as they sit like a skirt but have the comfort of a short, and they come in so many colours.

These are the only leggings I’ve ever found that don’t continuously roll down or show my undies when in a downward dog. They’re equally as good for the gym, long walks, or lounging at home.

I’m back in my Safari era and this hat is seriously cute. I have bought it for my trip but will absolutely be rocking it on home soil too. Hampstead Heath? Oxford Street? Nowhere is safe from me and my cute bucket hat…

I love a polka dot and I love this top. Pair it with jeans, heels, a knit and a rosy cheek and you’re the chicest girl on the block.

Ok, I love this. I bought it for outside use but it’s been sitting, changing colour, in my kitchen for the past two weeks and I’m mesmerised. I will move it outside soon, where it will be charged by the sun, and I may even get a few more. Bring on those balmy summer evenings!

I thought long and hard about this purchase, which is very unusual for me, but now that I have it, I don’t regret it at all. You see, I love cooking and I worked out that I was spending about £8 a WEEK on fresh herbs. That’s mad, especially when I can grow them at home and have them forever. I’m a couple of weeks in and my seeds are almost ready to harvest. It’s kinda amazing and it looks cool too.

No but why am I obsessed with this place? I love tinned fish and I love great packaging and this combines both. Plus, I think this is some of the best tinned fish I’ve ever tasted. Don’t get me started on the £22 tin of Jersey butter tuna. If you’ve seen my tiktok you’ll know! Seriously though, their subscription boxes make a brilliant gift for anyone who loves fish as much as me.

I’m sorry but WHAT!! These are the coolest resistance bands I’ve ever seen. Ok, they’re not homeware as such, but if you happened to leave them lying on your floor they would kinda just fit right in! Unlike every other boring resistance band on the planet!

My Nana had tissue box covers of all shapes and sizes around her house; my fave was the Barbie doll crochet version on top of the loo, but I guarantee she would have loved this one. It’s called circus chic, dah-ling.

That’s it for my Feb faves! I hope you’re feeling as hopeful and as inspired as I am this month. I think we’re all very ready for longer days and more sun, but while we wait for that, douse yourself in good beauty, fashion and homeware as per above, and don’t forget to send me pics!

Love,

Lisa xx
