My 5 Faves Of The Month: August

August has been a bit of a mixed bag, hasn’t it? Sun one minute, rain the next. But what do we expect from British Summer?! The silver lining is that it’s given me the perfect excuse to play around with new bits I’ve been loving. So, here’s my last five faves of the summer (I can’t even!) in beauty, fashion and home. Let’s go…

Alice Du Parcq wasn’t lying when she said this is oud like no other. It’s rich but somehow still fresh?! You get that smoky, woody base, but then the citrus really come through. It’s the kind of fragrance that makes people stop you in the street and ask what you’re wearing.

Low key feel like this is still a bit of an underrated gem! These multi-use pencils glide on so smoothly and can be used for lips, eyes, brows - you name it. The shades are super wearable and the formular does not budge!

I use these on clients all the time, because they give that fluttery, natural-but-better vibe. They’re easy to customise, whether you want subtle or full glam and they last without the faff of strips. Love!

Sleek and refillable (which is always incredible) and the shadows themselves are perfection. It’s luxury you’ll actually use every day, which is rare in palette world.

Ok how many times have I spoken about this?! One of those viral products that deserves the hype. It keeps brows fluffy, groomed and in place all day without that weird crunchy feeling. Plus, it’s a tenner. Honestly, save your money and get this as it really delivers.

I bought these as they’re the best balance of comfort and style. Proper performance trainers but still nice enough to wear with a dress. 10/10 for getting those steps in without sacrificing vibes.

Ok how could I resist getting this?! It’s everything I love in a skirt. Dress it down with a tee or pair with heels and a slick bun for evening. Essentiel Antwerp nailed it.

Topshop | Faux Fur Collarless Long Coat

Ok I haven’t quite got this yet because I feel like it is jinxing summer! But c’mon… Topshop is back, baby! It’s giving effortless, slightly oversized 90s silhouette with faux fur that looks far more expensive than it is. Feel like Kate Moss in 2000 would have LOVED this!

Another piece I’m eyeing up on payday…. I can’t resist a statement shoe, and these zebra-print mules are just the right amount of extra. Wearable and they add edge to a simple outfit.

I have it in every colour. Honestly, it’s the perfect tee. Soft, structured enough to tuck, washes well, and works under everything. Sometimes the basics really are the best.

If you haven’t seen my pond updates… where have you been?! I’m absolutely obsessed with our new pond and was looking for one for ages until I found this. Love that it is fairly deep but doesn’t take up loads of space. Honestly feels like our garden is complete since I got this baby!

If I was bed sheets… this is who I’d want to be! I got these for our spare room and have actually ended up putting them on mine and T’s bed because they are just so soft.

Why have I only just realised this has the same energy as the pond?! This copper and marble table is so luxurious and would look perfect in your living room or next to your bed.

Just an absolutely gorgeous bowl. Love that it is unique and I feel like even eating cereal out of this would be an experience. Our kitchen is kind of full to bursting right now but have picked one of these up for a gift and I’m sure my friend is going to love it.

I’ve been eyeing these up for a few weeks now. Honestly, the scalloped edge, the colours, they’re all that I want in a napkin but can I justify getting more?!

So that’s my August Five Faves. Not everything’s made it into my basket (yet!), but you know me… it’s only a matter of time. As always, let me know what you’ve been loving this month!

Love,

Lisa xx
