My 5 Faves Of The Month: April

This April, I’ve needed a little comfort, joy, and a bit of sparkle. So, this month’s favourites are exactly that: tiny rituals, feel-good beauty bits, and pieces for my home and garden that made things feel lighter. Here’s what I’ve been loving…

Bibbi fragrances never miss. This is potentially my favourite vanilla fragrance ever! No joke. This is sweet in that cool Scandi way… think burnt sugar, woods, and a hit of musk that lingers beautifully on the skin. It’s like a sexy, chic hug in a bottle.

You know how I feel about VIEVE makeup. This matte lipstick has been a total game-changer in my kit recently. Creamy, glowy, not too matte, not too shiny – it gives that blurred, pillowy effect to your lips. I love tapping it on with fingers for a soft-focus finish.

She’s back and she’s better than ever! Did anyone else freak out that this beauty was discontinued? Well, Laura Mercier knew they did wrong and has bought her back. The packaging may be a little different, but the formula is better than ever. This is my wind-down ritual – thick bubbles, the warm scent of honey and almond, and the chicest wooden dipper ever. Honestly, the joy I get from swirling this around my bath is unmatched.

Spots? What spots? These little yellow stars are not only adorable but actually work. Plus, they turn dealing with blemishes into something kinda joyful. I just wish these were a thing when I was a teenager!

Ok you guys have been asking for a new hair routine and this baby is my secret. Beachy, bouncy waves without the faff. Heats up fast, easy to use, and gives that effortless tousled look that I try to pretend is natural ha!

Not all fans are created equal. This one MISTS. Obsessed. It’s got a flexi head, rechargeable battery, and even a remote. Officially the VIP of my patio setup this summer.

I’m not exaggerating when I tell you that I’ve searched for over two years for a perfect, chic, parasol that wasn’t boring beige or stripy. This one is elegant, sculptural, and makes the whole garden look like a boutique hotel. Spenny, but it’s art, that I will look after and treasure forever!

My most precious Champagne glasses. Once an expert told me to drink from wine glasses (not flutes) as these open up the bubbles and let all the aromas come through. These have that effect with the wide opening and they look so fancy.

My darling friend Em has always been a flower whisperer. I’m so proud of her for turning this passion into a full-on floristry business. I will forever be grateful to her for creating the most gorgeous, colourful, arrangements for our Jen. Check out her website for the soulful female owned business of your dreams.

Minimal, sturdy, and surprisingly chic. This anchors the whole garden vibe – throw on a linen runner or let her shine in all of her beauty.

The moment I put this on, I felt like a disco cowgirl. It’s metallic, western-style, and makes every outfit feel fun. (Yes, I also have the matching jeans.)

Slinky, swishy, and perfect with a big belt or a denim jacket. I’ve worn this to brunch, dinner, and a garden party. It’s giving cool girl in 2005… but elevated.

Accessories can change everything and this one does. The colours, the embroidery, the vibe! I throw it over dresses, shirts, even blazers. Also, I feel like the Free People quality always lasts a lifetime!

Skorts are still having their moment, and I’m thrilled. This one’s got the classic Levi’s fit with the added bonus of not flashing everyone when you sit on the grass. What more could I ask for?

I adore these shirts. This one’s part of the Bellamy collab and the white linen with the embroidery is just chef’s kiss. Oversized, breezy and goes with literally everything.

Here’s to finding happiness in the small stuff – an amazing bath, a dreamy scent, a wavy hair moment. Big hugs.

Love, Lisa xx
