My Swimsuit Edit: The Styles I’m Loving This Summer
I am swimsuit-obsessed. Like, I’ll wear swimmers for no real reason just because I find them comfortable. (Does that make me a mermaid?! I hope so…) However, finding a swimsuit that makes me feel confident can sometimes feel harder than finding the perfect pair of jeans… or finding a needle in a haystack. I want something that fits beautifully, feels comfortable, supports where I need it to and, most importantly, makes me feel good the second I put it on.
Over the years I've tried a lot of swimwear and, while trends come and go, I've learnt that the pieces I reach for time and time again are the ones that combine a great fit with effortless style.
So, whether you're heading off on a sunshine-filled holiday, planning a staycation, or simply updating your swimwear drawer, here are the pieces currently sitting at the top of my wishlist (and in some cases, already packed in my suitcase).
My Forever Favourite: Skims
Let's start with a brand that, in my opinion, absolutely nails swimwear: Skims.
The fit, the quality, the fabric, the way everything feels secure without feeling restrictive… I genuinely think Skims suits are some of the best swimsuits I've ever owned. They smooth in all the right places, hold their shape and manage to feel both supportive and comfortable.
High Street Heroes
You don't need to spend a fortune to find good swimsuits, and M&S proves this.
Crinkle fabrics are having a major moment, and this striped version feels fresh and modern. It's comfortable, flattering and so easy to wear.
For The Fashion Lovers
Sometimes you want a swimsuit that feels less practical and more "main character energy".

Colour Lovers, Rejoice
I know many of us default to black swimwear, but some of the most flattering pieces I've found are the ones that embrace colour.
Great Finds From ASOS
ASOS is one of my favourite places for discovering affordable swimwear gems, particularly if I’m looking for different cuts, fuller-bust options or trend-led styles.
If I had to choose just one brand from this entire edit, it would be Skims every single time. The fit is exceptional, the styles are timeless and they're the swimsuits I consistently reach for year after year.
That said, there are some incredible options on the high street right now – particularly from M&S. Ultimately, the best swimsuit isn't the trendiest one or the most expensive one. It's the one that makes you feel confident enough to stop worrying about what you're wearing and start enjoying your holiday.
