My 5 Faves of the Month-October

I know my 5 Faves of the week is always a big hit. Unfortunately my days sometimes run away from me - one moment I’m having my morning coffee and the next it’s time for dinner – and I just cannot squeeze in all of my to-do’s. So to make up for it, I have decided to dedicate a monthly blog post to 5 Faves featured in three categories: Beauty, Home and Fashion.

So without further ado, here are my absolutely favourite things for the month of October:

I love it because makeup in the 90’s was iconic. Hence why it’s come full circle. This cool toned palette gives a modern take on the grunge and the glam vibe of that era. It’s a combination of the supermodels and the rockers. On top of that, the formulations are divine. They blend seamlessly and quickly. The pressed glitter pigments give the perfect amount of shine without any drop out. And the pan size of each palette is double the size of most, meaning you’ve got plenty of space to play.

It’s no secret that it has been a mission of mine to try and sleep better. I struggle with switching off and I often find myself laying in bed, awake, with a million thoughts jumping around in my head. However, I now have a full on routine which includes these amazing CBD drops. I have never found CBD to work for me, but these combined with the rest of my routine, seem to work a treat. I always feel relaxed and sleepy after taking my half a pipettes worth. And it seems that you guys that got these in your Liberty Beauty Drop, also loved them. I do wish they were a bit cheaper, but they really do work for me.

OMG this collection is simply stunning! One that even my fave Dave (Attenborough-obvs) would like to carry around. Hourglass have collaborated with London-based illustrator, Katie Scott. This limited-edition collection reflects the vast spectrum of beauty in the animal kingdom. On top of how beautiful the palettes are, they are also filled with the iconic ambient highlighting and blush products. What a beautiful gift.

In addition, 5% of profits from Unlocked support the NonHuman Rights Project in their efforts to secure fundamental rights for animals

You know I love a good mascara so here’s a new fave. Maybelline have always made great mazzy’s, but this one just hits a bit different. It lengthens and separates, it’s jet black and, the best bit, it’s under a tenner. You can’t really go wrong.

Space NK Shimmering Spice scented candle

So last week I was lucky enough to attend the Space NK Christmas party of joy! I walked into the winter wonderland and was immediately hit with the smell of this candle. The unique cinnamon and all spice scent literally transported me to Dec 25th. So guess what, I took (with permission), the half burnt candles at the end of the evening, and now my home smells like the greatest day of the year. And I’m here for it! These sell out every year so trust me, it’s better to be early than late!

Yes, I’m starting to think about my Christmas decs. And this paper star is actually something that could be up all year round. It would be gorgeous to have three of them hanging above your table.

One of my favourite artists who can make the most wonderful commissions. I was lucky enough to receive this from some of my best mates. And I commissioned Lucy to make this glorious pic of my friend Andy’s garden for his birthday. Such a special gift.

I have fallen in love with these beautiful, vibrant hand painted glasses. They would look gorgeous adorning any table. Check out the matching jugs too.

I have a small obsession with these stripy curtains. Is it the red and pink combo? Is the fact that they would be a talking point in any room? Either way, I think I need them!

Nothing in your home needs to be boring. Including your ice bucket! I love this House of Hackney x Anthropogie collab. The perfect statement piece to keep your champers cold.

Naturally I bought these immediately!! I mean high waisted jeans covered in crystals? What’s not to love? They also fit true to size which is a small miracle for Zara. If you want to see me wearing them, click here.

I have 3 pairs of these and I absolutely adore them. They don’t hurt my ears due to being gold plated, they’re super light and just finish off any outfit. An absolute bargain too.

All of it, everything! I mean LOOOKKKK at the joyyyyy! It’s an investment, but definitely worth it IMO. I wore one of their tops for my birthday and felt incredible in it.

Damn it, I was looking for a link to the River island cowboy boots (these babies) and I accidentally line danced my way into these Free People beauties. Red is one of my favourite colours and I adore the silver toe cap!

Cowboy boots are most certainly back with a bang. Saying that, I don’t think they ever really went out of style.  I love my Annie’s Ibiza x Terry De Haville pair. Literally the perfect dancing shoes. They have certainly been tried and tested during an all-nighter in Greece last month.

I mean it’s not exactly a secret that I have an obsession with Skims. They are, without doubt, the comfiest underwear I’ve ever worn and I don’t wear anything else now. These “fits everybody bras” are a firm (no pun intended) favourite. Not only are they comfy, the colours are MEGA! I love wearing them under a shirt to add a little pop of colour. I wear a size medium.

And there you have it! My absolute faves of the month of October.

As always, I only ever recommend products I would use myself. This most may contain affiliate links that at no additional cost to you, I may earn a small commission.

This is mostly spent on repairing the shoes Diddy keeps chewing.

Happy shopping!
